The Crew

We are proud to employ a great crew of talented and hard working individuals that each possess the passion and desire to deliver our customers a quality product. Each member of our team is a key asset in every project, from complete restorations to engine swaps and paint jobs.

Greg Folino

Greg has been with RSS for many years. He is an all-around technician, highly skilled in electrical, mechanical, fabrication, paint and body work. Greg is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and has been in the Raleigh area for over 10 years.

Karl Smith

We were very happy when Karl came on board with us! His love for cars started in the early 80’s and fueled his passion for fabrication. After custom building his own drag car and trailer Karl kept cars to his weekend activity while he worked on customizing utilities vehicles during the week. When the opportunity to make cars his lively hood, he took the chance and operated his own race car shop. After 7 years it was time to move on and let someone else run the business end of things while Karl focused on his first love – fabricating drag cars. When the business closed he took his skills to a new field and began customizing firetrucks for the next 14 years. His love for cars was revived when he moved to NC from NY. Karl is married and the proud father of a daughter, son and dog.

Samantha Hardeman

Sam is our office manager here at the shop and has been with us for over five years. She started helping us in the office while she was still in school. After graduating from N.C. State with a business degree, she came on full time to run the business side of the shop. From customer communications to billing and accounting, she helps keep us running like a well oiled machine!

Taz Marshall

Taz has over 30 years of custom car and bike building experience. He is skilled in paint and body work, metal fabricating and interior work. Taz has over 10 years of work with Mustangs only and a passion for street rods. He's done extensive restoration work on various muscle cars over his years of experience and has been a certified welder since 1982. Taz has been married for over 22 years and has a daughter at UNC-Wilmington!
